What changed in v39-r35.

Camarasaurus receives attack-contact updates for moving animals and different species, quick-stomp coverage near its front feet, and committed stomp recovery after interruptions. This release also updates wallow recovery, grazing and feeding animations, call volume, swimming water effects, raptor pounce attachment and appearance compatibility. Admins can place feeding trees.

Giga's right-click bite applies less bleeding. Giga and Ankylo stagger and knockdown are limited to targets up to 105% of the attacker's current weight, with an absolute 12,500 kg cap. Damage still applies above these reaction limits.

Giga food classification returns to the compatible R34 behavior on both client and server. Known issue: a Giga eating Rex meat can still experience muscle spasms.

Download and extract the complete R35 launcher before joining the matching R35 server, then open the new launcher and press Play.

Camarasaurus turns at the normal rate again while trotting and sprinting. Turning in place and while walking stays slower. While swimming, Camarasaurus can no longer rear up or stomp.

R34.1 introduced a Giga/Rex food classification change. R35 replaces that change with the compatible food classification described above.

This update requires the matching R34.1 server. Close The Isle and the old launcher, download and extract the complete R34.1 ZIP into a new folder, then open the new launcher and press Play.

Camarasaurus gets a quick stomp on one right-click alongside the charged stomp on a held right-click. Knockdown and stun now follow the Camarasaurus' current weight, so they grow with it: the charged stomp knocks down animals under 4/5 of its weight and stuns animals up to its own weight; the quick stomp knocks down animals under 8/25 of its weight and stuns animals up to its own weight; the tail strike knocks down animals up to 7/25 of its weight and stuns animals up to 21/25. Heavier animals only take damage.

Also updates Camarasaurus damage, turning while walking and trotting, bleeding, thirst, plant diet and drinking. A call made while resting keeps the Camarasaurus lying down without stomp sounds. This release requires the matching R34 game copy: close The Isle and the old launcher, download and extract the complete R34 ZIP, then open the new launcher and press Play.

Keeps Giga and Ankylo, your graphics preferences and unlimited launcher sessions. Performance varies by PC, connection and server load; this release does not guarantee a particular FPS or eliminate every reported crash.

Updates Camarasaurus food and diet configuration on the client and server, and reduces repeated character lookups in the client runtime.

Corrects Camarasaurus stomp area hits and repeated tail strikes. Stomp and tail reactions now follow the v39-r34 weight rules above.

Restores Camarasaurus plant diet after migration updates and adjusts growth for this 2x server: approximately 17 hours from a normal spawn to adult, then 3 more hours to elder with a full diet maintained. Poor diet takes longer. Nested hatchlings have an additional early growth stage.

Also fixes a Camarasaurus skin preview interruption when changing or leaving character selection. This update keeps Giga and Ankylo, existing performance improvements, your graphics preferences and unlimited launcher sessions. Download the complete new launcher and press Play to update your separate mod copy.

Fixes a Camarasaurus issue that could close the game and stop the server during kicks and tail strikes. Camarasaurus attacks deal and receive damage normally again. Also fixes a launcher cache conflict that could block preparation on some PCs. Download the complete new launcher and press Play to update your copy.

v39-r30 added Camarasaurus alongside Giga and Ankylo. Download the complete new launcher and press Play to prepare the matching three-species copy. Keeps the existing combat fixes, performance improvements and unlimited launcher sessions.

Removes the four-hour launcher session cutoff. The game and custom dinosaur features no longer expire because of time played. Keep the launcher open while playing; scheduled server restarts still apply.

One Play button now checks, prepares and starts your mod copy. Folder selection, repairs and verification are available under Options.

Ankylo ground-slam stagger and impact push now require the target to weigh no more than the attacking Ankylo plus 200 kg, using their current weights. Damage still follows the existing rules.

Improves settings recovery and launcher startup messages, preserves your display preferences, and reduces repeated client discovery work. Includes an Ankylo ability-end camera correction and the required stock font in prepared copies. Existing verified game files can be reused without reserving space for another full stock package.

Corrects an adult Giga voice-selection error after joining or receiving growth updates. Native stage-table correction was confirmed; audible playback and peer listening remain unverified.

Added a Giga chat-input safeguard: the Space and Shift+Space shortcut checks the game's chat state before requesting the ram. Open or unavailable chat state blocks that custom request.

This targeted update carries forward the R22 performance improvements. It is not a confirmed fix for every reported chat crash; the owner successfully tested sending messages with both dinosaurs, but the intermittent crash cause has not been established.

The launcher now shares character lookups between its skin updates to reduce small periodic hitches while walking or running.

This release carries forward the Prime collection for all 24 supported dinosaurs: Ashen Crown, Mossback, Bog Iron, Redwood, and River Stone, with 120 member profiles, including Giga, Ankylo, and Diabloceratops. It includes the matching Giga and Ankylo color support. Choose your species and preset in the Prime Skin Studio.

This release also carries forward the R19 combat contact fixes, read-only settings compatibility, settings recovery, Windows folder-metadata startup fix, and previous client crash mitigation. Other dinosaur abilities and your graphics preferences are preserved.

Recovery keeps your current settings by default. Review the displayed choices before restoring the verified original settings.

Download and extract the complete new launcher, open that version and press Play. Get latest launcher opens the download page; it does not silently replace an older launcher.

From download to the island.

1. Download and extract

   Close The Isle and your old launcher. Download TRIKE-ISLE-Launcher-v39-r35.zip, right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All into a new local folder outside OneDrive. Keep every included file together; do not run the application inside the ZIP.

2. Open Steam and the launcher

   Sign in to Steam with The Isle installed on the matching Evrima build. Open TrikeIsleLauncher from the extracted folder. Windows may hide the .exe extension; its type is Application. Keep Steam open.

3. Press Play

   The launcher checks your separate mod copy, prepares the files it needs and opens the game. The first preparation can take several minutes. If it asks for a folder, use Options to select your Steam installation and a separate mod-copy location. You do not need to copy the game yourself. Keep the launcher open while playing.

4. Join the island

   In the game's Unofficial server browser, search TRIKE-ISLE and connect to TRIKE-ISLE - 2x GROWTH - STORAGE. The server has 150 shared places.

Already have a mod copy? Open the new launcher and press Play. It reuses the selected copy and prepares any needed changes. If a folder needs selecting, use Options; keep your Steam game, extracted launcher and mod copy in separate folders.

Use your new attacks.

• Giga body ram: run forward with W + Shift, then press Space without holding a mouse button. It costs 7% stamina and has a five-second cooldown. Knockdown is limited to opponents at or below half the Giga's weight.
• Ankylo ground slam: hold right-click to charge, aim almost straight behind your dinosaur, then press left-click while still holding right-click. You do not need to look down. Diagonal aim selects the lateral tail attack. The ground slam costs 18% stamina and has a five-second cooldown. Stagger and impact push are limited to targets at or below the Ankylo's current weight plus 200 kg.
• Camarasaurus: left-click for a directional tail strike. Hold Alt and left-click for a kick; kicks cannot be used while sprinting. Hold right-click to rear up, then left-click while still holding it for the heavy stomp. The stomp uses 25% of maximum stamina. Release right-click to lower yourself safely. Stomp knockdown is limited to 17/21 of your current weight, capped at 12.5 tonnes. Tail knockdown is limited to 11/21 of your current weight, capped at 12 tonnes; above that, eligible targets up to 17/21 of your current weight are staggered. Reactions require a successful damaging hit and a target lighter than you.

Giga and Ankylo include species-specific night vision. If attacks, calls or scent stop responding, leave safely and contact support with your release version and the latest session logs; do not repeatedly trigger an unresponsive ability.
